Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) is the management of specific medical conditions through nutrition education and dietary interventions. MNT is provided for the following conditions/populations:

- Autism (GFCF diet)
- Failure to Thrive (FTT)
- Eating Disorders
- Cardiac Disease/HTN
- Food Allergies

Nicole will review the overall health status, dietary history, social history, medical history, lifestyle and create a customized healthy eating and activity plan that allows that client to meet his or her nutrition and health goals. There will also be a large amount of dietary education related to the particular nutritional needs.
The follow-up session consists of reviewing food diaries, adjusting goals, providing support and monitoring growth/weight.
A unique service that provides an abundant amount of information to help you choose foods for quick and easy meals, to learn to read food labels, to help avoid allergens, to reduce time spent shopping and to improve the overall nutrient quality of your diet.
This is for individuals or families looking for a more structured program to meet health and nutrition goals. The package consists of 1 initial consultation, 4 follow up visits and a supermarket tour over a 3 month time period. You will receive helpful tools and support to help sustain lifestyle changes.
Topics include: ABC’s of Preschool Nutrition, Allergy/Intolerance Bootcamp, Babies First Bite… And Beyond, The Gluten Free Diet, Heart Healthy, Pre-Natal Nutrition, Sports Nutrition for Teens, Supplements A to Z, and many others. Community based lectures on numerous nutrition topics at schools, companies, hospitals, etc. Examples of lecture topics include healthy on-the-go eating, feeding your busy family, organic foods, omega-3's and portion distortion.

Insurance reimbursement is based on individual insurance plans. Medical insurance companies may or may not provide reimbursement for nutrition services. Please check with your insurance provider regarding their policy on reimbursement for nutrition services. While NutritionWise does not directly bill insurance companies, a form (superbill) will be provided that may be self-submitted for potential insurance reimbursement.
