Metabolic Test

Metabolic Test

Finally there is a Way to Accurately Measure the Speed of your Metabolism!

Have you ever thought to yourself that you may not be losing weight because your metabolism is slow? For the first time it is now possible to accurately measure the speed of your metabolism. As seen on Oprah, with the ReeVue Indirect Calorimeter you will finally be able to unlock the mystery of your metabolism.

What does the test entail?

The test is quick and easy. You will be given a mask or mouthpiece and will be asked to breathe into it for 10 minutes. During the test you will sit back in a reclining position and relax. You will be breathing in air from the room and the gas that you breathe out will go into the metabolic analyzer, which will measure your metabolic speed. When the test is complete a detailed report will be printed with your results.

What information will the test provide?

• Is your metabolism normal, fast or slow
• The amount of calories that your body needs to maintain, lose or gain weight
• How to eat the maximum amount of food and still lose weight
• How to maximize your workouts

How does the test work?

The human body consumes a fixed amount of oxygen per calorie burned. The ReeVue Indirect Calorimeter measures the amount of oxygen a person is consuming. Based on the measured oxygen consumption rate, the ReeVue Indirect Calorimeter calculates the exact amount of calories the person is burning.

How should I prepare for the test?

• Avoid eating 4 hours before the test
• Avoid exercising on the day of the test
• Avoid the use of stimulants such as caffeine on the day of the test
